I remember the Nayara Noor version, Musician. I used to be very fond of it in times past. I take it this is the version by Dr Radhika Chopra. Not bad either. But old habits die hard. And loyalty above all seems the right way to go, don’t you think?

Beautiful and how rightly she puts it: What Noor Jehan’s voice couldn’t do, Imran’s bat managed it, namely the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital. Long live both these heroes of Pakistan!

Delightful as ever. As for the delay involved, it was inevitable since this particular blog has been conceived along complicated lines beyond the meagre capacities of the computer illiterate. Anyway, glad we made it finally.
